Whilst teaching a young student in Enter The Dragon, and after telling him "hit me" twice, (both were feeble kicks) he then grabs the student, tells him you must learn to concentrate, points to the sky (whilst twisting his head skywards) and quotes "It is like a finger pointing away to the moon" (at which point he pauses and slaps the student on the forehead) and continues... "DON'T concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all the heavenly glory".

"There is no fixed teaching. All I can provide is an appropriate medicine for a particular ailment."

"The aim of art is to project an inner vision into the world, to state in aesthetic creation the deepest psychic and personal experiences of a human being. It is to enable those experiences to be intelligible and generally recognized within the total framework of an ideal world."

Bruce Lee's Villa Now A Brothel

The Hong Kong villa where Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee lived until his mysterious death in July 1973 has been turned into a brothel. It was nicknamed the Crane's Nest by the martial arts star who died at the age of 32.
The villa on the island of Kowloon is now called the Romantic Hotel. Rooms can be rented for around $30 an hour and guests find condoms already laid out on the beds while the televisions show round-the-clock porn. Although the hotel does not advertise using the star's name, many local men know that Bruce Lee lived there and say they get an extra kick out of it. The star's Hong Kong fan club is now trying to turn the building into a memorial to Lee.

Hollywood actress Uma Thurman was seen high-kicking and thumping her way through new movie Kill Bill in a Bruce Lee costume in 2003. The next installment came out in April 2004. The pregnant star did wear a similar suit to the late kung-fu legend which he wore in his last movie. The film, directed by Quentin Tarantino, who says, "It was exciting, writing and thinking of Uma's physicality, those long lanky legs and that blonde hair, and her doing animal-style kung fu or using the samurai-style sword.
Uma was wearing the yellow tracksuit of Bruce Lee from Game Of Death." Kill Bill is Tarantino's first film since Jackie Brown nearly four years ago. The director says he didn't want his career to go downhill after 20 years. "Most directors have a 40-year career.

Hong Kong kung fu star Bruce Lee's family plans to shoot a new movie about the martial arts and film legend to dispel the myths that have arisen since his death 33 years ago.

Speaking at a gathering to mark the anniversary of the star's death in 1973, younger brother Robert Lee Chun-fai said the legend had never faded but few people knew the real Bruce Lee. He said this year the whole family decided to launch a book to mark his birthday in November and they would record a film to show the other side of Bruce, how he was growing up, his secrets and his philosophy from the never-seen perspective of his brothers and sisters. The film will be shot next year by JA Media in co-operation with brothers Robert and Peter and sisters Phoebe and Agnes, and is scheduled to air on the 35th anniversary of Bruce Lee's death in 2008.

JA Media movie producer Stephen Shin Kei-yin said they would trawl the world to find the right actor to portray Lee.
