Club History

When Bruce Lee died in 1973, I was 17 years old, impressionable and also enjoyed 'violent' type films of the time. There were many books on offer about Bruce Lee - to which I still have many as collectors items. To this day I have a box full of books, posters and autobiographies. At the age of 19 I had seen all of his films, on more than one occasion, in fact some I have seen over 30 times. I had every film poster which I could obtain from cinema's in the north east. I eventually sold most of my collection to the Kung Fu Monthly editor in 1976. Her name escapes me, but she was most grateful to have in her possession the Chinese, Japanese and American books I had gathered over four years.

Are there any more fans out there?.

I would be pleased to hear from other fans, old or new about collections of books, articles or items of interest. The Bruce Lee Club UK has been on the net for nearly five years now. It started as a small page linking my hobby to the www.brianharrison.org family page.

It soon grew to the stage it is now at. I have made many new friends from this club and it continues to grow from stength too strength.

please send an E- mail to Brucelee UK.
